These Half Moon Wristlets are created from authentic Hupils - traditional Guatemalan textiles. These pretty bags can serve as a clutch, or as a pouch to store cosmetics or personal items. Each piece is unique and the designs may vary.

Huipils have been worn by women for generations. Woven by hand using a traditional backstrap loom, the designs woven into each huipil represent the personality and the marital, social and religious status of the women who wear them. Each piece is unique and shares the culture, stories and traditions of these beautiful women.

Every Half Moon Wristlet purchase helps women support their families and carry on the traditional textile arts of their ancestors, as well as improving their access to education, health care, and clean water. A portion of the proceeds is donated to organizations that support and empower women and children in Guatemala.
